Garden and Nursery Opening Times - 2013 Opening times  Please note in 2013 we will only be open on the first four days of each month (ie the 1st to the 4th) from April through to September (10am -5pm).                                                                                          Admission £5.00

Unfortunately we do not have a tea-room and the garden has very limited access for wheelchairs and pushchairs because of the very narrow paths.  Although dogs are not allowed in the garden there is ample opportunity for unlimited 'walkies' on the moor just over a mile away prior to a visit

Group visits  We are happy to accept groups of over 30 in number on other days in the first 10 days of each month between April - September from 10am - 4pm.  The admission for groups of this size is £4.50 / head and should you require a pre-booked guided tour this will be an additional £40 / group

How To Find Us - We are less than a mile from The Garden House, close to the village of Buckland Monachorum. From the A386 at Yelverton (Plymouth - Tavistock road) follow the brown tourist signs to 'The Garden House'.

Continue past the entrance to the Garden house(or turn right when exiting from their car park, if you are combining a visit to the garden there).

Go down the hill and go straight on, turning neither right nor left. We are 400 yards past the last houses in the village, on the left, at the point where the blue road signs are indicating the road becomes unsuitable for motor vehicles.

Local B&B- There are several guesthouses and small hotels in Yelverton (3 miles away).  We have had good reports from visitors who have stayed at The Rosemont (tel 01822 852175) and Harrabeer Country House Hotel (tel 01822 853302 / www.harrabeer.co.uk).  There is also a very good local pub in Buckland Monachorum, The Drake Manor (tel 01822 853892), which also does B&B
